A small program that lets Richter Technology safely look at your office server, run a security check, and help with anything that needs fixing — without anyone having to drive to your office.
Download this file to whatever computer is easiest — your laptop, phone, the server itself, doesn't matter. If you download it elsewhere first, just move the file onto the server (USB stick, network share, email it to yourself, anything).
On the office server (the actual server computer), double-click the file you downloaded. Windows may ask if you want to allow changes — click Yes.
Important: please double-click the file one more time after the first run finishes. There's a small known quirk where the first run prepares the install and the second run completes it. This is normal and safe — just open the same file twice in a row.
That's it. The window may close on its own. The program installs as a background service and you don't need to do anything else.
Heads-up — the file may say "unrecognized publisher". That's because Windows doesn't yet recognize Richter Technology's signing certificate. The file is safe and is downloaded directly from richtertechnology.com. If Windows shows a "Don't run" warning, click More info then Run anyway.
